SetFocus is a Parsippany, NJ based training company established in 1997. Our mission has been to provide developers with intense, in-depth, integrated training in both VB.NET and Java. At SetFocus, our goal is to create a fully integrated developer- someone that not only has in-depth experience with the VB.NET or Java languages, but someone who has a solid object oriented framework that can be built on over time to meet future evolving needs of the market place. We are known for our Masters Program, consisting of two tracks: VB.NET or Java.
Our .NET Track is an 13-week intensive full time program that covers the following areas: Object-Oriented Analysis, Object-Oriented Design, Microsoft VB.NET, Visual Basic 6.0, XML, ASP.NET, Building ActiveX Components, Creating Enterprise Level Client/Server Applications, and Constructing Enterprise Level Inter/Intranet Applications. During the 13 weeks of training you will be graded based upon your code review, labs, projects, and exams on a weekly basis. In addition, this course will help prepare you to become a MCSD. Financial aid is available to those interested in our program!
Our Java Track is a 13-week intensive full time program that covers the following areas: Object -Oriented Analysis, Object Oriented Design, Creating Client/Server Applications, and Constructing Enterprise Level Inter/Intranet Applications. During the 13 weeks of training you will be graded based upon your code review, labs, projects, and exams on a weekly basis. In addition, this course will help prepare you to become a SUN Certified Programmer for the Java Platform and a SUN Certified Developer for the Java Platform. Financial aid is available to those interested in our program!
In addition to our intense training program, we now couple our training with a three-month internship program that will bring additional development experience to our graduates. We have partnered with a number of our clients to offer our graduates an opportunity to gain additional project experience requiring expertise in JAVA, VB.NET, Visual Basic, ASP, SQL Server, and other development environments necessary to build rich n-tier internet-based applications. This makes an already incredible learning experience even more robust!
