SQL Server 2005 Developer/JASPosted: November 17, 2009
3-8 years experience performing system development activities with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and/or 2005
Administration of multiple database servers to perform standard tasks such as backup, restore, security mods/troubleshooting, basic configuration, jobs, notifications, etc.
Specific experience working in a small to large-sized team developing stored procedures or other database objects as part of an application
Background in data analysis and research
Creation of DTS and/or SSIS packages for use in regularly scheduled jobs to extract, modify, or transform data for a variety of purposes
Use of version control software such as ClearCase, PVCS or VSS
Knowledge of accounting/financial software and/or real estate systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding and experience in code deployment of database objects preferred
Understanding and some proficiency in use of data modeling/discovery tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, etc
Experience in optimization of stored procedures as well as entire database models
