Director, Database solutions

SUMMARY

Evaluate the current utilization of customer data, processes and technology and architecting database marketing solutions to help clients reach their marketing objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for data, process and information architecture improvements, helping the client to understand where different Customer Data Management components fit and establishing business metrics to evaluate marketing data objectives.
This position will lead client engagements to define a database solution, facilitate the selection of tools,  technology and processes and support implementation programs and activities. You should be prepared    to demonstrate data management best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take lead role in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients, including data management and aggregation, data architecture, tool selection and process development.
• Lead a team of consultants and analysts to define the problem, identify issues using problem solving principles
• Identify opportunities to provide value to clients using technology and analytics
• Develop roadmaps for developing and improving marketing solutions with an emphasis on data management, process, marketing applications and KPI-based measurement
• Develop business requirements and functional specifications for marketing solutions and business processes
• Design and execute solution test plans and roll-out strategies
• Define the organizational changes required to successfully implement and maximize marketing systems

REQUIREMENTS
8-10 years in developing and architecting database marketing or CRM solutions. Experience with the technologies that drive database marketing, including data, campaign and performance management (reporting)
• Strong client facing experience
• Prior consulting experience with an Agency preferred
• Prior programming or business analysis experience preferred

SKILLS
Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to convincingly articulate value propositions, credentials, and best practices
• Database Marketing experience including campaign mgmt and analysis
• Experience managing the design, development and use of marketing solutions
• Ability to understand complex data relationships and processes
• Ability to develop technology roadmaps and structured problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated focus on value and ROI

Ability to travel up to 50%
