Business Analyst for Project-Based Consulting

CIBER, Philadelphia is looking for Business Analysts to work on project-based assignments. As a member of the team, the Business Analyst will work with solution groups in defining and building functional requirements to support technical platforms and processes.

Responsibilities:
o  Act as the point person for all functional requirements related to the project
o  Interface with internal and external business users to collect business requirements
o  Analyze and design functional requirements
o  Write functional artifacts including requirements docs, use cases, wireframes, product maps, seed data, and high-level test scenarios
o  Conduct turnover sessions with technical resources and other stakeholders
o  Support technical team during development by clarify any business requirements
o  Support QA team to ensure that business requirements are being met
o  Support production teams in addressing critical client issues

Requirements:
o  Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as a user, analyst or technical specialist supporting various applications
o  Minimum 5 years experience in functional design, including user interface design
o  Solid familiarity will all phases of the software development lifecycle
o  Working knowledge of multi-tier applications and architectures and proven ability to design component-based applications within a structured development methodology
o  Excellent verbal and written communication skills (provide sample)
o  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
o  Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, especially in the face of multiple competing tasks
o  Ability to facilitate groups and to conduct work sessions and turn-over reviews
o  Ability to take on responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision
