This is a contract-to-hire position!
Data Modeler:
Responsible for developing data models associated with the Informatics Active Enterprise Data Warehouse.
3+ years of proven experience in data modeling, data management, data warehousing, data transformation, metadata and reference data management and business intelligence tools
Solid understanding of the following is required:
Process modeling
Relational model design, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes
Data warehousing and decision support tools and techniques
Highly skilled in Erwin or other data modeling tools
In-depth knowledge of Teradata architecture, administration, and security
Good understanding of IBM/Accential Datastage or other ETL tools
Good understanding of Hyperion, Web Focus or other BI tools
Experience with facilitating requirements and/or design meetings
3+ years of experience with advanced SQL query techniques
Good organizational and technical writing skills, including creation of Functional Specifications, Process Models, Data Models, Use Cases, Functional Diagram Business Requirements
3+ years of experience defining and implementing data policy, processes, and procedures
