Senior XML Developer BRBRAbout the Position: BRThe role of the Senior XML Developer is to process and load multiple XML schemas into an Oracle database. This includes parsing and processing distinct XML files into a common format. This position will require an understanding of mortgage related concepts such as loan servicing, default, and foreclosure. BRBRResponsibilities: BR- Develop processes to streamline the sourcing, processing and storage of data from multiple external sources. BR- Analyze incoming data submissions. BR- Work may involve the preparation and/or review of technical specifications. BR- Support ad hoc data requests and ongoing requests for data from workstreams and business partners. BR- Develop custom code to perform extraction, transformation, and load logic. BR- Acquire and develop knowledge of industry practices to develop new ways to use existing data to add business value to existing processes. BRBRQualifications: BR- A bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and business experience. BR- Experience with and knowledge of data management. BR- The ability to support work across multiple teams and to communicate effectively with both technology and business groups. BR- A minimum of seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in systems development with a recent focus on XML development. Candidates with experience in the fields of accounting, finance, and secondary mortgage activities are preferred BR- The successful candidate must have exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities. BR- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are required. BR- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. BRBRNice to Have Skills: BR- Knowledge of internal Fannie Mae data and systems is desirable BRBRBR
