Oracle Database Administrator

We are currently seeking an Oracle Database Administrator who will be responsible for installation and administration of ORACLE 10g databases on Solaris servers; database design and creation for high-performance/high availability large-scale application; providing consultation to application developers on physical and logical database design,  implementation, performance, and related issues; documenting database design, database administration guide, and deployment procedures.

Skill Sets / Qualifications

o 10+ years of solid Oracle database administration/tuning experience on a Unix platform
o 5+ years of experience in data modeling and application design, well versed in partitions and query optimization.
o 5+ years of experience using Unix (Solaris) programming environment, must be familiar with Shell scripts.
o 2+ years of working with Oracle 10g databases.
o 2+ years of designing and implementing Data Warehouse applications
o A 4-year degree in science, engineering, or a related field
o Well organized and detail-oriented
o Good verbal and written communication skills
