Collector / Collections

Client in the Edison area is seeking top notch professional collectors.

The candidate is responsible for generating collection revenue.  The qualified candidate will have 2+ years experience collecting charge off credit card, consumer loan, or auto deficiency accounts.   The candidate will set up payments in full or negotiate acceptable payment arrangements.

Requirements Position Qualifications Include:

• 2+ years prior collections experience
• Persuasive and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good telephone communication techniques
• Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast paced, stressful environment
• Proficient PC skills and ability to be on the telephone for long periods of time
• Strong numeric aptitude, problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work Monday's from 9 to 9, Tuesday's 9 to 6 and Wednesday - Friday 9 to 5.  One Saturday a month is required.
