This individual will be part of a systems integration and software development engineering team responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, testing, implementing, and documenting new and existing application software programs. Systems Integration requires working understanding of service provisioning vendor product(s) and how transactions interact.
Major Duties: Aqualogic BPM skills a must Packaging, configuration, installation of vendor product(s) that support service provisioning functions. Must learn how to troubleshoot these products.
Configure and administer BEA Weblogic Server domains and clusters, including application deployment, keeping up to date with patches, and migrating to newer versions when necessary. -Analyzes application defects found in testing and production and works with vendor to provide resolution. - Interacts with end users to gather requirements and scope the systems. - Participates in writing and executing unit, integration, and system test procedures. - Document final program and develop user instructions, software/hardware requirements, program input / outputs and execution / installation steps. - Provide ongoing system support by maintaining and enhancing existing software applications. - Documents new and existing software applications. - Develops and documents tools to enhance application development and testing. - Participates in team meetings to discuss approaches to current projects. - Participates on 7x24 On-Call Support. Minimum Requirements BS in Computer Science/ Engineering, or equivalent work experience in interface design and implementation -At least 3 years experience administering BEA Weblogic (8.1 or later) in a large clustered environment. -At least 1-3 years experience in web development programming using major web servers, application servers, ASP or JSP, EJBs and Servlets, HTML, XML, SOAP. -At least 2 year experience with Web Services and/or Service Oriented Architecture. -At least 1 year experience with relational databases (i.e. Oracle, Sybase) -At least 2 years experience with shell scripting (i.e. Korn shell, Perl, etc.) including sed and awk utilities. -Strong working knowledge of the following technologies / products / methodologies: - Telephony / Voice / Call Management Switch - BEA Weblogic Server, or equivalent middleware - OO modeling using UML - Experience with Corba or SOAP - Windows, Linux, and Solaris application development - Application performance tuning - TCP/IP and networking technologies and protocols Security principles (SSL, SET, etc), and use of firewalls, digital signatures, and certificates Knowledge of SNMP is a plus Knowledge of Pro*C, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus is a plus Please refer to job code ICS500 when responding to this ad.
