The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
We are currently seeking a Senior Application Programmer Analyst who will be responsible for working with Reporting Services E-Business Suite Applications. Corporate financial and sales reporting are based on a data warehouse that is built off the Oracle and PeopleSoft source systems.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Development. This will assist in being able to serve as a point of reference in handling issues related to financial processing. Exhibit functional expertise by working on complex problems requiring a high level of ingenuity and creativity gained through years of practical experience. Often self initiated, work is usually performed independently with minimal direction from manager.
Provide design input and requirements definition and clarification for subordinates working on reconstructing a reporting environment using the Informatica ETL product to integrate with Oracle Financial application data.
During upgrades and reinstallations, candidate will work with other team members to provide design, new principles, methods and architecture changes for applications. This would include gathering new requirements, creating design plans, performing code review, testing, documentation and customer follow-up.
Work on problems of diverse scope and possess the ability to multi-task where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Typically requires 10 + years related experience with a BS; 6-10 years experience with a MS.
Working hours will generally be 8-5 EST Monday through Friday
SKILL SETS / QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS REQUIRED: • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming • MS Reporting Services, MS OLAP (MS Analysis Services), MS SQL Server, MS MDX • Informatica 8.11 and Erwin working knowledge
SKILLS DESIRABLE: • .Net (C Sharp, HTML, JavaScript) • Working knowledge of relational database • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Good interpersonal skills in relating to both the customer and the offshore staff
