IP/MPLS Network Architect

ATS is an information technologies consulting company providing services to Fortune 500 companies nationwide.  ATS specializes in providing full-service staffing solutions by providing technical and business personnel through staff supplementation and project engagements.  The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.

We are currently seeking an experienced IP/MPLS Network Architect who should be able to produce comprehensive customer-focused deliverables in a consultative role on a network architecture audit.

The range of duties including supporting, as a lead technical resource,  network architecture assessments/audits including capacity planning and engineering, technology evolution planning, performance and reliability analysis,  The candidate should have deep expertise in at least two or more of the above areas.

SKILL SETS / QUALIFICATIONS

1) Deep technical expertise in IP/MPLS and/or Metro Ethernet; Familiarity with technology domains is not sufficient, the candidate should be willing to demonstrate deep technical expertise at least in one of the technology domains.
2) Solid understanding of both network and operations domains with respect to one or more of the above technologies
3) Direct experience working with large service providers
4) Minimum of 7-8 years experience in the telecommunications industry
5) M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
6) Excellent writing and presentation skills
7) CCIE is desirable.

Travel:    50% travel to Little Rock Arkansas
