Patent Prosecution Attorney - Urgent Need

We are currently recruiting for Patent Prosecution Attorneys registered with the USPTO for a well established Washington, DC law firm undergoing expansion. Candidates should enjoy a team environment and should enjoy working directly with clients. The firm offers a very competitive salary and benefit package, including relocation costs.



Job Requirements

The ideal Patent Prosecution Attorney candidates will have 7+ years patent prosecution experience with a law firm or in-house legal department and either: (1) a Ph.D. in biology, chemistry or related field; or (2) a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or computer science. A successful candidate will likely have experience at a law firm and will have a proven track record in meeting billable hour requirements in the range of 1600-1800 hours per year.
