Financial Analyst

BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE
This position will be a key analytical resource in the implementation of WFI P&L Planning and Metrics processes. The primary responsibilities is to build and maintain a comprehensive template for financial planning/forecasting. This would include preparation of the P&L planning template and related analytical tools. Additional responsibilities will involve standardizing period end reporting packages and related presentation materials.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Build reporting templates for all DSD and Weston Foods reporting entities.
•Consolidate Financial Plan & Latest Estimate submissions.
•Prepare weekly volume reports
•Prepare key periodic financial reports for the senior leadership team, regions and groups.
•Prepare management presentation charts for all major meetings.
•Develop new nVision reports as needed to support business analysis.
•Establish technical expertise on financial systems (Peoplesoft, nVision, Hyperion, Margin Minder, Microstrategy, Other)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•5+ years experience in Finance / Accounting
•Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
•Strong analytical skills. Planning, written and verbal communication skills essential
•Strong and demonstrated competencies in managing financial reporting/accounting systems.
•Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) with demonstrated capabilities in advanced business and financial modeling.
•Excellent time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and high accountability.
