In this position, the successful candidate will generate Outside sales of Comcast’s Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to new, former, and existing small and mid-size customers. Through relationships with current customers as well as the generation of new targeted business leads, this candidate will consult with customers and prospects to promote and recommend products and service applications that best meet their short- and long-term needs. This position requires strength in the generation of leads and execution of sales presentations as well as an overall excellence in consultative selling that will allow customers to develop a strong understanding of the benefits of the Comcast products and services platform as compared to the competition.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and enthusiasm around all Comcast commercial products and services, promoting and selling offerings to small- and mid-size business customers in a designated territory. Self-generate leads for sales of Comcast’s products. Follow-up on leads and referrals provided by existing customers. Meet with prospects to increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as competitive advantage over competitors. Effectively communicate and develop a rapport with customers evaluating the customer’s potential product and service application needs to make appropriate recommendations Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives within the guidelines established by management. Establish and organize daily sales initiatives, and reporting of all sales and service activities. Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance. Perform other related duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or commensurate related work experience. 1 to 3 years business-to-business outside sales experience and success.
