Senior Software Engineer

ATS is an information technologies consulting company providing services to Fortune 500 companies nationwide. ATS specializes in providing full-service staffing solutions by providing technical and business personnel through staff supplementation and project engagements. The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer

The following are tasks are expected to be performed by the candidate:

o Review and provide comments/feedback on feature requirement documents
o Develop and/or review Feature Design documents
o Implement the coding and conduct unit and multi-unit testing
o Assist Quality Assurance with their testing of the system
o Implement and test modification requests (MRs).

Requirements:
The candidate must have a very strong technical background with emphasis on real time systems, and ability to work on highly complex software system. The candidate must have strong programming skills in server side Java for distributed applications using Java J2SE 1.5, servlet programming and experience working in a multi-threaded environment. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented design principals and be familiar with Eclipse. In addition the candidate must have firsthand experience in using Agile development methodology. Knowledge of C++ is desirable along with knowledge of computer networking with emphasis on mobile networks and SS7 and SIP. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and must have very good communication skills.
