Senior IT Project Manager - SAPPosted: November 22, 2009
A hands-on IT project manager is needed to participate in implementation of SAP. Candidate will report to IT Director but will be deeply involved with business users and the SAP team.
Will be responsible for software development lifecycle, business analysis, and project management. This includes assisting in transition to SAP and the integration of other third-party solutions.
Appropriate project management methodologies are to be utilized. Will work in team environment with management, business users, and technical IT resources to design and implement technology-based business process improvements.
Job Functions:
Participate in implementation of SAP Business All-In-One.
Meet with stakeholders to understand business goals and establish scope of new projects.
Lead cross-functional project teams to successful implementation of new systems.
Project management (planning, communication, organizational change, quality assurance, etc.)
Bring structure to software development lifecycle.
Provide business analysis and project management expertise.
Requirements:
SAP experience with one or more of following modules: FI/CO, PA, PP, MM, WM, SD. (At least module on finance side and one module on suupply-chain side is required) Should also know SAP Tables, etc.
Should have potential to lead and supervise IT personnel.
IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years overall IT experience.
3+ years leading cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated project management and business analysis skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with all business functions and levels.
Experience with an IBM midrange platform (System I, iSeries, AS/400) is a plus.
Bachelor degree in related discipline is required.
