BI Project Manager

Manager  BI Systems Development
senior role/BI Leader. This role is critical to the group’s success, and the individual will be in charge of leading their BI Initiatives for the group.
Critical experience:
* Extremely Strong hands-on project management experience: Not looking for some who delegates and then sits back. They must be proactive and very hands on in this area. *Ability to communicate with senior management (CEO, CFO, Finance Leaders, Marketing Leaders, Vendor Relations, etc)
* Demonstrated success in BI program implementations with ability to support cross functional groups
* Ability to lead a team composed of employees, consultants (both on and offshore)
* Strong data analysis skills
* Business aptitude in finance, product/inventory, sales, and customer analytics
Technical development experience/skill in data warehouse development, ETL strategies , and OLAP Reporting tools Business acumen in Financial Analysis, Sales Analysis, Customer Segmentation, and Product Management Demonstrated ability in successful implementation of tools such as Cognos, Informatica, and Microsoft SSIS Willingness to manage development group as well as participate in hands-on development activities when needed Experience in project management and organizational skills Proven ability to plan and execute against the full software development lifecycle Ability work in a multi-product environment in a matrix organizational design Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities Demonstrated success in implementation of data warehouse solutions on an enterprise level Demonstrated experience on implementation of BI systems Management presentation skills Experience managing technical people 4+ years in management of a Data Warehouse development team 6+ years development experience in data base warehouse and/or database architecture experience Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry is preferable Training in Systems Analysis and Design Excellent oral and written communication.
