Bus Dev Marketing Rep Lead Job ID: 9742 Location: VA - Norfolk Regular/Temporary: Regular Previous Page Responsibilities Analyzes the market and market opportunities, recommends opportunities for pursuit. Researches public domain materials to develop leads, contacts, and capture plans, and proposals. Develops relationships with client executives and markets the company and its capabilities. Participates in industry groups and conferences to represent and promote the company and its capabilities. Develops proposals, solutions, white papers, business plans, and marketing materials. Manages contract submission process including all related legal documentation. Prepares new business proposals, responses to requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs). Works with other departments to transition new clients from contract to program implementation. Manages weekly reporting and analysis of the business development pipeline, including development of company business development presentations as required. Develops and maintains working relationships with similar and/or complementary companies to include teaming and partnership discussions. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies in order to successfully meet client requirements. Complies with all corporate policies and procedures, including quality assurance and security procedures in the performance of duties. Qualifications Experienced, retired US Military Officer. Previous contractor experience desired. Program Management experience required. Past proposal writing and leading experience highly desired. Business Development experience highly desired.
