Clinical Programmer
Responsibilities:
· Designing study data entry screens and univariate checks, maintaining study databases and change management.
· Programming the automated edit checks to support clean file efforts.
· Programming derivation procedures if needed, developing conversion, loading and extracting programs, running routine conversion/loading programs.
· Programming database enhancements, writing and executing ad hoc programs to meet the needs of clinical data management.
· Programming merged or derived datasets in SAS, programming data reports.
· Participating in database programming testing and debugging textual information and reference system.
· Participating in system validation and implementation, assisting in mentoring programming trainees.
Requirement:
· BS in mathematics, statistics, computer sciences, medical informatics, or other related majors required. Master degree is statistic is strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 4+ years experience in clinical programming within pharmaceutical industry. Competency in Oracle Clinical and SAS is a must.
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical data management.
· Computer literate in MS Windows-based applications possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
