ATS specializes in providing full-service staffing solutions by providing technical and business personnel through staff supplementation and project engagements. The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
We are currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer should be able to quickly gain an understanding of the various customer solutions, flows, and business rules by reviewing and studying requirements and design documents. Then take this knowledge and translate into test cases/specifications and execute both manual and automated test cases by developing appropriate test scripts. The QA team member is expected to analyze and debug issues encountered during the course of testing and engage internal development team as necessary when software defects are clearly identified.
Due to the nature of the product and schedules, team members will also participate in environmental debugging and a successful applicant must not be easily deterred by environmental problems/issues but be able to work through them. The product which the QA team member will certify is a J2EE-based applications deployed via Application Servers that connect to an external database. Therefore, knowledge and experience of Unix (HP-UX, Linux, AIX), Application Servers (ie. JBoss), RDBMS (ie. Oracle), SQL, MQ, and JMS are required.
Also, knowledge of Unix system administration and experience with the Java programming language are DESIRED.
Any experience with Number Portability Gateway and Clearinghouse products is a PLUS.
