Manage the implementation of strategic staffing strategies, plans and initiatives to deliver recruitment and selection support in partnership with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and external vendors to identify and hire diverse global talent. Partner with Business Leaders and HR staff to assess internal and external environment and plan staffing requirements to meet business needs. Develop and support Recruitment staff and resources assigned to support the global functional areas, leveraging the global recruitment capabilities.
• Significant experience in Human Resource field including broad experience in sourcing and staffing and in-depth experience in developing and implementing recruitment and selection processes. Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and talent markets and to develop recruitment strategies, programs and tools in support of business objectives • Significant experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech R&D environment across the spectrum of R&D areas including discovery, clinical, regulatory affairs • Significant experience of supporting staff, departmental budgets and contracted and partnership relationships. Experience planning, implementing and monitoring departmental strategies and objectives. Ability to develop, analyze and evaluate team & individual objectives and to interpret and communicate progress and results. • Experience and advanced knowledge in use of broad range of recruitment and sourcing tools including: Web-based services, networking, cold-calling, candidate identification and screening, research, contingent & retained search consultants and outplacement firms • Ability to build relationships by partnering with business leaders, hiring managers and HR community • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; collaboration skills, ability to share responsibilities for results, provide and accept feedback; request and provide support; and represent team plans an decisions • Skill in soliciting input and evaluating business, client and candidate needs and addressing concerns and complaints. Ability to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change • Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities and programs • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment.
