ATS specializes in providing full-service staffing solutions by providing technical and business personnel through staff supplementation and project engagements. The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
We are currently seeking a Network Engineer who will be specifically responsible for leading and resolving complex data network issues (LAN, WAN, Firewall, DNS/DHCP) anywhere around the globe for the Customer account (including network connectivity with 3rd parties) - implying the engineer would be on-call for truly complex issues 24x7. Also:
* Participating in troubleshooting meetings onsite in Woodbridge on complex cross tower issues which may or may not have data network root causes
* Being an onsite technical escalation point for the existing remote LAN, WAN, Firewall, and DNS/DHCP teams
* Participating onsite in meetings with customer on architecture strategy for data networking technologies
* Being deeply involved in the handover of data network projects from Customer to as the prime owner of knowledge transferred
THE IDEAL DATA NETWORK ENGINEER CANDIDATE WILL BE SKILLED IN THESE DATA NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES (LISTED IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1.General Ethernet LAN, MPLS+Frame Relay WAN, Firewall, DNS/DHCP, acceleration and load balancing technologies
2.Nortel LAN Switches (particularly 86xx and 55xx series)
3.Arubawireless access points and controllers
4. Juniper Firewalls (particularly NetScreens)
5.Lucent/Alcatel QIP
6.Radware Load Balancers
7.Expand Accelerators
CONTINUE TO PROVIDE REMOTE STEADY STATE SUPPORT FOR THE IN SCOPE NETWORK DEVICES INCLUDING:
* Alarm monitoring
* Problem detection, identification and resolution
* Configuration and change management
* Inventory management
* Device access control and security
