Software Tester (301846-636)

Execute test procedures for testing of client-server network-based backup and recovery software. Create and populate file systems with data. Manipulate data within the file system. Analyze test results. Create detailed Modification Requests (reports of “bugs” found) and work with software developers to track down and solve the problems found.

Required Skills:

·  Understand the basic concept and workflow of software development and quality assurance. Any previous experience on the testing tools will be a plus.·  Hands-on experience on the operating systems, messaging and database applications (for example, Exchange, SQL or Oracle).·  Essential Knowledge on disks, array and RAID are strongly recommended. ·  Knowledge or working experience on SAN, file system architect, snapshot or replication a plus.·  Bachelor degree or above from the Computer Science or other related fields.·  Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment is required.
