The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
ATS, Inc. is looking for software engineers with computer architecture, C/C++ programming, and Linux/Unix skills to join existing development and test teams. As a member of a small advanced software team, candidates will be challenged to implement, debug, and test components of system software. This system software is a suite of Linux-based applications that is used to manage a massively parallel computer system.
Specifically, we are currently seeking a Software Tester who will design, implement, and execute test plans for various components of system software.
1. Proven experience understanding product requirements and functionality, in order to design appropriate test plans and test cases to verify features and functionalities.
2. Proven experience reading, understanding and analyzing other developers' code (primarily C/C++).
3. Proven experience with white and/or gray box testing.
4. Ability to identify bugs through systematic testing.
5. Proven experience with scripting languages and other automation tools.
Skill Sets / Qualifications
Applicant must be US Citizen.
Location is in Piscataway, NJ with significant travel required to Newark, DE (75% for first few months and then down to 25% for the project duration)
Job Requirements:
1. BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering
2. C/C++ and Linux/Unix experience
3. Computer architecture oriented
