JOB TITLE:  Consultant  Project Manager – ECA IT PMO 


DESCRIPTION (please reference career path, if available): 
1. Plan, Manage and implement a number of  enterprise/global systems implementations supporting the Clinical IT portfolio, examples include
. Data Management EDC upgrade projects
. Data Management ETL tool implementation
. Biostatistics Standard Reporting System implementation
2.      Manage a group of technical and business resources on a number of enterprise/global systems implementations supporting the Clinical IT portfolio.
3. Through maintaining an understanding of current technology trends and practices and having a familiarity with company business activities, processes, goals and objectives the incumbent acts as the knowledge and administration resource to other areas in IT.
4. Responsible for the overall direction of assigned IT projects, providing services to the organization's portfolio of projects such as guidelines, planning, scheduling, estimating, costing and risk assessment.
5. Working within an SDLC framework to accomplish systems related implementations and projects and establish relationships with Quality and Business Units.
6. Ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects and customer satisfaction with the products
• Assign resources to projects
• Provide mentoring and training
• Act as a knowledgeable resource
• Mediate conflicts
• Establish a repository of lessons learned


QUALIFICATIONS: 
1.  Ten or more years of combined education and business experience with at least 10 years of experience with computer technology and application systems.
2.  Five or more years of experience in Project Management
3.  Three or more years managing systems programs or projects in regulated areas of the pharmaceutical industry
4.  Experience managing systems programs across all areas of the Clinical lifecycle
5) Experienced in full Software Development Life Cycle Methodology (SDLC)
6) Advanced leadership and general management skills
7) Advanced communication, negotiation, conflict resolution capabilities
8) Advanced analytical skills to resolve difficult problems
PMP certification or Masters Degree in business or equivalent preferred.
