Nurse Clinician II Job Code: 0207 Division: Suburban Hospital Location: Bethesda, MD US Travel Involved: None Job Type: On-Call/PRN Job Level: Experienced Education: Associates Degree or Equivalent Skills: Category: Staff Nurses Compensation: Position Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiac and Cath Lab Holding Responsible for assisting the Director,in the management and achievement of quality patient care outcomes for a Cardiac Cath Lab through appropriate clinical and managerial activities. The incumbent in this position provides professional nursing care and participates in and facilitates the management of the operational activities of the unit. Requirements EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES: BSN preferred or commitment to actively pursue National Certification in current area of practice or CHE preferred, or commitment to obtain within one year of appointment RN Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be eligible for a Maryland RN license. Current ACLS and BLS certification required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of three years of recent related clinical experience. One-year clinical experience is required in current area of or Cardiology Successfully complete hospital and nursing orientation. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Requires effective customer service and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple assignments Requires ability to communicate via documentation, telephone, computer and directly with people of all levels of management.
