Currently looking for a Research Scientist
Summary/Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be working with a group on the development of antibody therapeutics in oncology. Requirements include a BS degree with 5-6 years or MS 3-6 years of experience in antibody generation and tumor biology in industrial or academic settings. Major responsibilities include antibody generation, the characterization of antibody activity to biological function in cancer and tumor-associated cells by utilizing immunochemical and cell-based assays. In addition, DNA manipulation, assay development, validation of antibody activity to various cell types will be also a part of responsibilities attributable to successful completion of projects. Experience in immunohistochemistry and animal handling is a plus. The qualified candidate must be a highly motivated individual with proven skills in verbal and written communication and teamwork.
Essential Knowledge, Skill, Experience:
1. Experience and knowledge in preclinical studies with antibodies in oncology. 2. Knowledge and skills in the generation of monoclonal antibodies utilizing hybridoma technology. 3. Proven experience in the development of immunochemical and cell-based assays. 4. Experience and hands-on skills in ELISA, FACS, IHC, Western-blot, PCR. 5.
