Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer who performs a variety of engineering work in planning and design of product.

1. Generates design input documents as well as verification and validation results.
2. Develops and validate test methods
3. Creates and executes protocols and reports
4. Executes FMEAs
5. Interacts with third party development houses on design solutions
6. Plans and executes Design Of Experiments
7. Prepares, conducts and participates in Design Reviews
8. Maintains print packages and component specifications
9. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products or equipment when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing is advisable
10. Execute development activities for medical device design involving adhesive and electronic devices including:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum BS/BA required. Degree in Engineering required. Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of new product development experience required. Experience in Medical Device Design Control required. Strong analytical and communications skills are required. Strong knowledge of and training in Quality Systems Regulations (QSR) preferred.
