Canon Business Solutions Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) are responsible for providing pre-sales support for specific business system products and services including: black & white and color printers and copiers, facsimile equipment, document management solutions and related software. Responsibilities: As a Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales), your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive applications and system support for the imaging product line. In addition, you will be responsible for all pre-sales activities including comprehensive document workflow analysis, supporting all 3rd party software enabling solutions and assisting sales representatives with demos and customer appointments. Qualifications: Your qualifications must include: minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Electronics Technology or similar field of study or equivalent business experience, understanding of industry standard application software, familiarity with Canon production equipment preferred, knowledge of ISIS/Twain scanning and variable data, strong aptitude in various computer platforms, communication protocols, and network operating systems required, solid experience in both MAC and PC platforms Novell, Microsoft, or other industry-related certification(s) a plus, excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to adapt to many types of customer environments and knowledge of document management software a plus.
