Director of Finance - Distribution

Position Description
George Weston Bakeries is now part of Bimbo Bakeries USA.  We are a 4 billion dollar fresh baked goods company with such brands as Arnold, Thomas, Entenmanns, Tia Rosa, Bimbo, Freihofers, Stroehmann, Marinela, Boboli, Mrs. Bairds and more.
Position Summary
The Director will provide strategic and tactical financial leadership and support to the Distribution leadership team.  The position is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting and analysis of Distribution Financial performance for the East and West Regions.  
Specific Responsibilities
• Preparation and review of monthly financial performance measures.  Key deliverables include; Earnings Variation Analysis vs Plan and YAG, Productivity achievement measurement, forward looking financial guidance.
• Identify and assess Distribution Operations improvement opportunities.
• Support Distribution leadership team in development of strategic operating plans/annual operating plans/forecasts.
• Financial leadership over Strategic Initiatives.
• Lead monthly / quarterly reviews on performance with the Distribution Management team using KPIs and measuring Cost vs Budget and Prior Year, by region / assigned accountability.  
• Provide financial guidance on impact of inflationary/deflationary changes in Fuel cost.

Education/Experience Required
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred)
• 12 years experience in Finance
• 7 years experience in directly supporting Transportation / Logistics   
• 4 years experience in financial leadership role
