A client of ours outside of Philadelphia is looking to bring on an accomplished Web Developer to work in an agile, fast-paced, cross functional team environment that supports web tier components of customer acquisition and customer servicing applications written in .NET.
Job-Specific Requirements: * Must have demonstrated at least 3 years of development with web projects that provide B2B and Direct to customer interfaces. * The position requires that the web developer be able to build dynamic, standards-based web content from electronic marketing material as well as maintain and support content in production environments. * Experience with integration of data driven elements using Silverlight / Flash / AJAX in externally facing websites is a must. * Knowledge of implementing CSS based layouts is required * Must be proficient with concepts such as information architecture, taxonomy , and website storyboarding. Experience using tools like iRise or Protoshare a plus. * In-depth knowledge of Web Technologies, Object Oriented Methodologies and the use of Service Oriented Architecture is required. * Extreme familiarity with C# .net 2.0 and 3.5, IIS 6.0 and 7.0, SOA, XML, MSSQL, Team Foundation Server and Framework Design Patterns is required. * Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator) is required. * MS Sharepoint Development, Online Payment Systems, Content Management Integration and Web Analytics is preferred * Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills are required.
Important Qualities / Activities * * Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or related area of study * 4-to-6 years of experience in web development * Able to learn and master new technology quickly and improve personal performance through continual self-study * Desire and commitment to providing outstanding products * Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to cope with diversity and complexity in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment * Strong interpersonal and team relationship skills and able to work well individually or as part of a team * Proven experience with real-time, transaction processing applications * Proven experience with integrating with various business systems * Excellent command of development concepts, practices, and procedures * Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
