ARINCs headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking a highly motivated Senior Solutions Architect to join our Commercial Aviation Solutions division. The Commercial Aviation Solutions division provides communication products and services for commercial and business airline customers worldwide. A successful candidate will need to have experience in object-oriented software development. This individual will perform software development for various ground-to-air applications, each integrated with ARINCs messaging "gateway" application. These applications use the following technologies: Python, HTML, Javascript/Ajax and C++ in a linux environment. Responsibilities include developing in an object-oriented environment, software implementation and testing, including programming in Python, HTML and Javascript in a Web 2.0 environment. This position requires a high level of interaction with external and internal customers with. Candidate should demonstrate experience working on development teams and a self-motivated objective-driven work ethic. Qualifications . (8) Eight years plus of related experience with programming languages and paradigms. . Experience/fluency in C++. . Knowledge of the Software Development Life-Cycle and working within a team environment. Additional Desired Experience: . Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Eclipse. . Experience with AJAX, python, Java, Perl and Ruby. . Experience designing and implementing web-based applications for integration of large scale systems and a working understanding of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) is a plus. . Experience on Web frameworks. Education Required: BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline. MS Degree in technical discipline is a plus. Amount of Travel Required for Position 0%-25%
