Property & Casualty Business Analyst

Anexinet is a premier I.T. systems integration and technology management company in the greater Philadelphia area.  Anexinet has a proven track record of delivering Project Management and Business Analysis solutions for Fortune 1000 and mid-size companies across a variety of industries.  As a result, we currently have a need for Senior Business Analyst for a long term (12 months minimum) consulting engagement for one of our premier property & casualty insurance clients. 

NOTE: Candidates must be permanent U.S. residents and may have the option of joining Anexinet as a fully-benefited employee.

Responsibilities:
• Interact with all necessary parties to help define functional requirements for several project initiatives.
• Define systems scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements and translation into system requirement specifications.
• Develop high level design artifacts.
• Assist in performing system testing, system implementation and develop high quality documentation.

Required Skills:
• Minimum of 8 years of total I.T. experience including at least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst.
• Property & Casualty insurance industry experience required – specifically with group insurance claims and/or workman’s compensation. 
• Proven experience as a business/systems analyst in a complex, multi-phase application development project(s).
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization’s technical and business departments.
• Solid analytical, technical and proven solving skills.
• Customer and goal focused – needs to understand the importance of the application to the business.
• Ability to set client expectations appropriately.
• Very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to display strong sense of urgency and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to complete deliverables on time and within budget.
• UML experience is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with .NET technology based project is a plus.
