Analyst - PM Soldier Weapons 1047 Work Location: Picatinny Arsenal, NJ Job Code: 1047 # of openings: 1 Salary Range (Annual): Description Provides management support to government Product Directors (i.e., project managers). Provides small arms acquisition recommendations, program coordination and guidance to achieve program goals. Leads IPTs. Provide analysis and reports. Prepares, reviews and updates acquisition documentation to successfully achieve program milestones and support cost reporting requirements. Supports production programs, analyzes and reports on production issues for acquisition planning in terms of quality, quantities, schedule and costs. Prepares and reviews documentation on production, shipment, and fielding of small arms programs. Reviews and assists in management of all areas of project management including test and evaluation, engineering, funding management, and logistics support. Develops, plans and oversees their execution as required. Writes program summary information briefings and information papers. Familiarity with the Department of Defense and Army systems acquisition process. Experience with project lifecycle management from initial concept through prototype development, fielding, and sustainment. Knowledge of small arms. Knowledge of the scientific/engineering approach to problem analysis and resolution. High quality written and verbal communication skills.
