SAS Data Programmer - 6+ month Contract

Our client has an immediate opening for a SAS Data Programmer who will be responsible for the following:

• Write the programming code for the basic edit checks which could be applied across studies to check for completeness and accuracy of data contained in a transfer.
• Assume primary responsibility for working with operations to produce the standard and custom reports for each clinical study for use by the medical monitor, clinical scientist and other project team members; assume primary responsibility for handling all other ad-hoc data requests.
• Responsible for programming support to create and provide reports which will help in the reconciliation of ADME data between our laboratory data and the clinical database.
• Assume the responsibility from the statistical programmer for the local laboratory unit conversion and reconciliation process (Note: Most of the current work has been outsourced to a CRO and they are looking to bring it in house).
• Provide programming support to assist in report generation required for the Quarterly Safety Review meetings and ongoing review/assessment.

Experience:
• Must have a minimum of 6 years (US Based) Clinical SAS Programming experience.
• This person should be very familiar with programming languages used on the “front end” of clinical data management systems like SQL, PL/SQL, Java, or html.  Preferably, the candidate will be strongest in SQL and SAS experience since most of data is received in SAS format.
• It would be ideal if the candidate has strong experience in developing reports and listings used for status reporting and reconciliation of data received from external vendors with the data received from the clinical database.

**This is a 6+ month contract position. Hourly Rate is commensurate with experience. This client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time.**
