Senior Biostatistician

The Senior Biostatistician will perform statistical activities in clinical trials from protocol development to final study report.  The essential responsibilities of this position include:  reviewing protocol and preparing statistical sections, including sample size calculation; reviewing CRF, database design, and editing check specs; preparing detailed statistical analysis plan and table/figure/listing shells; working closely with Statistical Programmers in test runs, identifying data quality issues for key efficacy and safety variables; working closely with Statistical Programmers in the final statistical analyses; and reviewing final study report and preparing statistical methods sections.   The successful candidate will also perform other ad-hoc statistical activities as needed.  A PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics is required.  Experience in pharmaceutical statistics is preferred. The qualified individual must also possess good knowledge of SAS computer package
and good communication skills (verbal and written).
