Senior Project Manager - Biologics

Our company, located in Gaithersburg, MD, is a biotechnology company developing innovative therapeutics to treat cancer, heart disease and ophthalmic disorders. Each of our gene-based product candidates uses a common patent-protected technology platform to deliver genes that produce medically beneficial proteins directly at the site of disease. We have three product development programs in various stages of clinical testing. We also are using proprietary adenovector technology to develop vaccines for infectious diseases.

We our currently seeking a Senior Project Manager

Description
Will manage project plans including team meeting management, budget
and resource tracking and management of outside collaborators and contractors.
Works with a wide variety of employees, including PhDs and MDs
Uses interpersonal, written, verbal and administrative skills
Will work in a dynamic goal-oriented team environment
Liaise with US Government agencies regarding contracting

Experience Required
Three to five years of biologics industry experience with at least two to three years of relevant project management experience. PMP certification a plus

Strong knowledge required in the following areas: vaccine and biologics development; budgetary and financial monitoring and reporting; federal government contract management; resource tracking and forecasting; cGMP manufacturing; quality control and quality assurance and regulatory affairs.

Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Microsoft Project
Project accounting/budgeting/resource tracking
Setting goals and objectives
Time management/organization skills/team building/conflict management/communication skills

Must have experience with US Government contracting requirements.
