The Role Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced Assignment Editor to join its television team. The person in this role must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The individual hired for this role must have experience writing and discussing national and international newsgathering at a cable network/24-hour organization. Strong writing skills, knowledge of financial markets, and the ability to work under deadline pressure are required. The successful candidate must show excellent news judgment. The ability to break down complex material into simple terms and flexibility with hours is required. This role requires the individual to have a strong passion for reporting on business news. ***Qualifications: -Bachelors degree or equivalent experience -Knowledge of financial markets -Experience working in a real-time news environment -Minimum of three years of experience -Experience writing and discussing national and international newsgathering at a cable network/24-hour organization
