Core is presently seeking experienced Microsoft engineer with expertise in current Microsoft technologies. Core's ideal candidate will have extensive hands on experience with Microsoft technologies; specifically Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007 implementations including high availability configurations using SCR, LCR, SCC and CCR clustering. The candidate must also have extensive experience with Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Active Directory implementations. The position focuses on project related work covering the full project lifecycle from Discovery, Planning, Design, and Implementation. Core's work environment is highly collaborative, where all consultants work closely with Core's team and our customers. The candidate must have proven technical abilities and customer/executive interface experience.
Job Description:
The Business Consultant will provide consulting and integration services for complex Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Active Directory, Exchange, Virtualization and System Center Suite solutions. Job responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing customer solutions. Local travel is required.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Five (5) years of experience and a college degree preferred. Equivalent hands-on work experience is acceptable.
• Extensive Microsoft integration experience is required with the following being mandatory: high level Active Directory and Exchange implementation experience. In addition the following experience would be preferred: Microsoft System Center Suite, Symantec Antivirus, Symantec Backup Exec & NetBackup, SAN experience, VMware ESX, SharePoint Portal Server, Citrix Presentation Server (XenApp), Blackberry Enterprise Server, IIS, SQL 2005 and 2008, Microsoft high availability clustering and Microsoft Terminal Services.
• MCSE or equivalent Windows 2008 certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer interface skills are required.
• Drives new and enhances existing revenue by supporting presales activities.
