EOE Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the position include marketing and business development, technical, managerial and administrative duties for developing a new office. The successful candidate will ideally come from Wilmington, DE/South Jersey/greater Philadelphia or surrounding areas, be a self-starter with established local contacts, have strong marketing/business development skills and be responsible for client development. Candidates will have a technical background as a geotechnical engineer [strongly preferred] or environmental manager, have a ‘roll-up your sleeve mentality to get things done, and be a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work. You will be tasked with getting the firms name out in the marketplace. The firm has a national footprint, with several other offices located throughout the region. Relocation may be available, but the ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the local market. A Professional Engineers license is amust for this position; or the ability to obtain local licensure within six months. An advanced degree is highly preferred. Qualifications: • BSCE/MSCE with a geotechnical engineering preference. • Strong marketing and business development abilities. • 10+ years of technical and managerial experience. • Professional Engineer license. • Proven successful P&L responsibility. • Strong leadership skills. • Excellent decision making skills. • Team player - embraces team building. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
