Assistant Account Manager Tracking Code 89 Job Description Overall Purpose: The Retail Processing Unit "RPU" provides administrative and processing support for the Retail P&C Division. It is the primary service link between the agency and our 1,500 clients by providing superior customer service. The Assistant Account Manager is the service link between the insurance agency, client and the carriers represented by the agency. A friendly, customer-service oriented personality and a positive, cooperative attitude are paramount.a Main Tasks: 1.aProcess renewal and mid-term certificates in a sufficient and timely manner. 2.aSupport Account Service Team by processing new and renewal applications. This may include data entry of application information. 3.aOrder Loss History Reports for upcoming renewal accounts or as needed. 4.aOrder Motor Vehicle Reports for upcoming renewal accounts or as needed. 5.aCreate user profiles for Inscope accounts as needed. 6.aProcess and invoice audits and endorsements as needed. 7.aPerform filing and document scanning as assigned. 8.aWork on individual or corporate projects that may be assigned by management occasionally. Objectives / Performance Standards: 1.aProvide prompt and cooperative customer service to all prospects, clients, underwriters and certificate holders. 2.aRoute all certificate requests that fall outside on-line certificate issuance system (InScope) and route to appropriate Account Manager for action 3.aGather underwriting information as directed 4.aEnter client information into agency management system in an expeditious and accurate manner 5.aInvoice endorsements and audits efficiently and without error. 6.aProcess new and renewal policies according to agency procedures and workflows, keeping backlog to less than 30 days for commercial lines. 7.aFollow-up on client / carrier activities as directed by supervisor 8.aPerform filing and document scanning as assigned Office Equipment / Software Used: 1.aWindows-based desktop computer 2.aInter-office network; Internet access; e-mail - internally, with carriers, and with prospects/clients/others 3.aAgency Management System and related programs 4.aComparative Rating Software 5.aMVR, Credit Report, Clue Report software/website 6.aTelephone; Fax; Copier; Printer Job Location Woodbridge, NJ, US.
