Job No:  2009-0504S Job Title: Research Assistant Department: LOMBARDI CANCER CONTROL Grade/Level: 07 Date Posted: June 17, 2009 The person in this position will have responsibility for conducting subject recruitment, telephone interviews, data management, and data entry on a multisite grant concerning prostate cancer screening patient education. Experience and interest in conducting data analyses using SPSS is desired. The project will result in a substantial amount of data that will require significant attention to detail and ability to multi-task.  The person in this position will be responsible for routine project management, participant recruitment, telephone interviewing, data management, and data entry. The project will result in a substantial amount of data that will require significant attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Bachelors degree with 1-2 years experience. Will need to have experience in data collection and data management.

Knowledge of Microsoft software is a requirement. Attention to detail extremely important. Includes some evening and weekend hours during data collection periods.
