Job No:  2009-0486N Job Title: Teacher, Hoya Kids Learning Center Department: Hoya Kids Learning Center Grade/Level: 09 Date Posted: July 13, 2009 The Hoya Kids Learning Center is seeking a qualified, professional teacher to provide developmentally appropriate care and early education to children of Staff, Faculty, and Students of the University by: .Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. .Conducting programs and activities that implement the emergent curriculum of the classroom. .Developing and maintaining mutually supportive relationships with individual parents that enable both parents and teachers to meet each childs individual needs,  .Monitoring and supporting each childs individual development. .Maintaining overall responsibility for classroom functioning.

Qualified applicants should possess some college and three years of related experience in ECE or related field, or the equivalent in education and experience per NAEYC standards. Must have strong relationship and communication skills. Required computer experience to include word processing, powerpoint, email, use of digital photography and internet research. Experience working in a high quality early childhood program required. First Aid and CPR certification desired.
