Job No:  2009-0215D Job Title: Research Assistant Department: Physiology & Biophysics Grade/Level: 08$  28,863.20--  $  37,522.16 Date Posted: July 14, 2009 This posiiton directly supervises and manages all projects related to research with functional magnetic resonance imaging in humans. Consults with the P.I. about study design and objectives. Co-ordinates with the CFMI in providing support for experiments condcuted within that facility. The position is responsible for recruitment of participants, signing of consent forms, and payment of subjects. Interacts with Georgetown University Institutional Review Board. Supervises compliance with IRB protocols. Ensures equipment maintenance procedures and repairs. Performs data analysis and other duties as assigned. Masters degree and previous experience in a laboratory setting required. Strong computer skills, word processing, imaging and graphic software, statistics, data analysis, financial and budgetary skills. Excelllent commnication, management and organizational skills are esential. Must have fluent command of German language ( oral and written)
