Will develop curriculum, provide phone counseling, and lead teen groups. Minimum of a Bachelors degree, Masters preferred. Minimum of one year experience with minority youth. Research experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to develop effective working relationships with faculty and study participants. Computer skills needed for this position include: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with database and statistical packages. When hired, the Intervention Counselor will need to obtain and maintain HIPPA and Human Subjects Protection certification (provided by GUMC).
