High School Graduate. Successful completion of the Consortium of Colleges and Universities Campus Law Enforcement Institute or equivalent training from a recognized Law Enforcement Academy. Must possess or be able to successfully obtain a Security Officer/Special Police Officer commission from DC Metropolitan Police Department. Must pass initial physical examination. Must pass initial and annual substance abuse screenings. Must possess a valid Drivers License from DC, MD, or VA. An offer of employment as a Patrol Officer at the Law Center is contingent upon a successful pre-employment investigation of criminal and motor vehicle records. We are Metro accessible.
