Statistical Modeler / Econometrician

The position will develop statistical tools to support client marketing programs and design and management of analytic projects using advanced statistical methods. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of theory and practice of hypothesis testing and design of experiments, and experience developing statistical models for application to  marketing automation processes.
The right person will have experience in advanced statistical techniques such as: cluster and factor analysis, CHAID, classification tree, OLS and ML regression and ANOVA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Build predictive models in the areas of customer marketing and demand generation  using a broad array of statistical techniques
Identify and recommend analytic solutions to meet client needs
Work with internal and external client teams to design research projects
Consult with colleagues on hypothesis testing and design of experiments

REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience developing predictive models and/or segmentation tools
2+ yrs developing and implementing statistical solutions to automate of marketing decisions
Experience presenting analytic results to marketing/business decision-makers
Expertise in SAS Base, Stat and Macro procedures
Ability to work in the Unix operating environment
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office Suite
Strong analytic thinker with attention to detail
Degree in economics, statistics or related field
Experience manipulating very large datasets

PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficiency with OR and optimization software
Experience programming in Excel functions and macros
Proficiency with variety of statistical programming packages
Experience with latent class/mixture regression models
Knowledge of formal demand function estimation and economic demand theory
