Basic qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 1 year recent/consistent experience as a Compounder or equivalent Compounder experience. - good computer skills. - Excellent reading, math and communication skills:  - Able to read, understand & apply information from    SOPs, batch sheets, etc.  - Confident in the use of basic math calculations,    percentages, fractions and decimal notation.  - Familiar with different measurement schemes, e.g.    kilorams vs. pounds; fluid uonces vs. liters. - Ability to reoutinely lift 55 pounds. - Flexibility to work 12-hour days (including weekends) on all shifts and overtime is required. - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build teamwork. Preferred qualifications: - Ensure compliance with PPE procedures and other safety procedures and SOPs. - Ownership of quality procedures and standards. - Organization of daily activities to ensure production  schedule is achieved. - Monitor changeovers, RFT, documentation and waste. - Ability and willingness to learn and willingness to train  others. - Maintain effectiveness in varying conditions and with  different tasks, responsibilities and people. - Flexibility to work extended hours to achieve results. Details: - Liaison between department supervisor and cell team  members. - Ensure optimum utilization of shift labor. - Provide leadership and direciton to cell - influence team members to align to area objectives and vision. - Ensure implementation of department training strategy and certify associates training. - Handle cell performance issues and conflict resolution. - Ensure compliance by reviewing documentation within assigned cell. - Attendance management. - Manage inventory of finished product/reconciliation of  tubes, and inventory of supplies within cell. - Support culture change initiatives within the department. - Proactively monitor waste and actively "drive" waste out of  the process. - Maintain visual displays of performance and target  efficiencies within cell. - Use of OE tools when problem solving with cell team members/encourage JDIs within cell. - Ensure 5S program within cell are being followed. - Carry 5S and GMP Audits. - Completion of incident reports in a timely manner. - Monitor and action standard work boards in Mfg. suites (Batch Cycle Time). - Drive continuous improvement in batch Cycel Time. - Lead Level I audits of manufaturing cell.
