Microsoft Analysis (SSAS) & Reporting Services Consultant

Anexinet is a premier I.T. systems integration and technology management company in the greater Philadelphia area.  Anexinet has a proven track record of delivering Business Intelligence solutions for Fortune 1000 and mid-size companies across a variety of industries.  As a result, one of Anexinet’s major clients has an immediate need for a Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultant with experience developing BI solutions using Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server.

Required Skills:
• Experience deploying Microsoft BI projects to a production environment.
• Expert knowledge of the following technologies is required: SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience modeling, building, deploying Analysis Services cubes.
• Experience deploying Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience developing BI solutions on the Microsoft SQL Server platform, specific experience with MS Business Intelligence tools (Visual Studio 2005 BI, SSRS, and SSAS).
• Strong knowledge of multi-dimensional concepts.
• Be able to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, and format the contents of a report.
• Experience with MDX queries.
• Experience deriving business requirements.
• Excellent client interfacing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Customer and goal focused – needs to understand the importance of the application to the business.
• Very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and consistently able to meet project deliverables on time.
