This person must have the ability to work independently as well as in conjunction with a team. Candidate will resolve problems which require an intimate knowledge of VMware technologies including: ·    Lab Manager                            ·    Site Recovery Manager ·    Stage Manager ·    View/VDI ·    Recover Point ·    Avamar

Requirements:  ·    6+ years of Designing, Implementing and Maintaining a VMware Infrastructure includingarchitecting, and deploying Virtual Infrastructure Technologies (VI3) in a Windows environment * Experience in providing tier III support to the technical support community

* Able to work independently and in conjunction with a team of engineers * Pre-sales and Post-Sales experience (proposal development, participation in sales calls, strong client management skills) * Manage and mentor junior staff * Contribute to and participate in National Practice events, conferences, and internal training

* Serve as technical liaison to other technical vendors providing hardware/software/integration services

Desired Skills: ·    VMware Certified Profession certification(s) ·    Knowledge of PowerShell scripting development (and/or in Powershell with the VMware plug-in) ·    Prior experience working in structured environments and demonstrate ability to follow operational best practices (e.g. ITIL Configuration Management ·    Prior consulting experience ·    Team Leadership experience ·    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience ·    Project leadership/management experience ·    Knowledge of EMC Storage Solutions ·    Microsoft or other vendor certification Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
